Escape the Wizard's Lair is an instructional game designed for a foreign languages program at the University of South Florida. The game went live in 2022 and was designed to inspire success through collaborative learning theory. 

The target population for the game are students enrolled in fully online and certified hybrid sections of ITA3500 Italian Culture and Society.  This game is designed to be used in a higher education course as a method to evaluate the comprehensive cultural knowledge and language skills students have developed in the program.
